Today was the "BIG" game to see if Kansas University (KU Jayhawks) would make it to the Final Four. Low and behold.....they made it (barely).
Paul has been a KU fan since I met him and actually since 1997 when Jeff Boschee came out of Valley City, ND to play for KU. He also became a big fan of Roy Williams (former coach of KU) who now coaches for the North Carolina Tar Heels. Paul had a big decision to make in 2003 when Roy Williams left KU to coach NC....should he remain a KU fan or switch to NC since Roy was headed that way? He made the decision to stick with KU.
Now, on the Road To The Final Four, KU will be playing NC on Saturday. His TWO favorite teams. He really wants KU to win but said he wouldn't mind seeing NC win neither (at least I know he won't have a "bad day" on Saturday then!! LOL).
Soon "March Madness" will be over and our house will be back to normal with a little break from sports (besides watching Nascar, which I can handle).
