Happy Birthday Miss Seneca

Yesterday was Senecas 4th Birthday!! She has been excited for over a week! After work and daycare, we decided we would have an adventure and let her invite some friends over for a party. So for 1 1/2 hours, we had 4 girls and 1 boy and Seneca for a Strawberry Shortcake Birthday party! You never realize how much little girls scream until you have that many in one house!! We started out with Pizza for dinner, then opened presents, then cake and ice cream and then a art project. I thought that should occupy 1 1/2 hours, but.....of course, things never go according to plan. Kenan, the little boy was quite curious as to what was in the basement, so finally to cure his curiousity and the rest of theirs, I took the kids on a "field trip" to see what was down stairs. That took care of the wondering as to what was in the basement. We still had a few minutes left and to keep them from running around the house and jumping on Senecas bed (yes this was happening earlier), we had a little story time. It always makes me wonder how our Kristi, our daycare provider can handle 12+ kids (ages newborn to 5), 5 days a week, 10 hours a day. Bless her heart!!
This is a picture of Seneca and her party guests: Abby, Kate, Seneca, Austyn (in front of Seneca), Raegan (standing next to Seneca) and Kenan. They are all such wonderful kids and have such personalities!!
Below is a photo of the kids and their art projects. We did foam door hangers with their names on them. They were just sticker letters and then other shapes (flowers, planes, cars, ect.) that they could stick all over them. They had a good time!!
