Our weekend started out Friday night when I got an evening away! I went to a friends house to attend a Southern Home Living party. Even though it was just for a few hours, it was nice to visit with adults even though we ended up talking about our kids since all the mothers from daycare were there.
Saturday Paul had to work so Seneca and I made our routine trip to Super Walmart on Saturday morning. With bribes to "be good" we enjoyed a lollipop afterwords and played before lunch time and nap time. When Paul arrived home, we got our deck ready for the evening and enjoyed time with friends that came over for the evening. It was a good time and we called it a night about 11 pm. Seneca magaged to stay up until then also. We used to be able to stay up much later but it seems as if that is about as long as we can go anymore.
Sunday, after naptime, we made a trip to the library. It seemed as if Seneca wasn't quite as excited when we arrived at the library this time since they took the play castle down. Must have been a promotional thing but it was no longer there and she of course asked about it. Didn't seem as interested in being there after that! We managed to stay about an hour and checked out a few movies for the week.
